Whitney Jayne – Bend

For Whitney Jayne, her art is about making connections, and she likes to paint favorite Oregon vistas, “the places people go and make memories.” In rekindling shared experiences, she hopes to strengthen bonds we feel for nature, animals and each other. “You have to have connection before you care about something,” she says. Many of her bright, dreamy renditions can be discovered in our Home & Gift section on greeting cards, prints, stickers and magnets. A professional artist for a decade, she calls the Bend area home. Look for Whitney Jayne’s artwork in the Home & Gift section of your Market to give as gifts or to enjoy yourself.

Bee Lucia – Portland

Less than content with the soy candles they found on the market, the Morris family decided they could do better. "We wanted to create a super clean candle with actual health benefits," says Bee Lucia Co-Founder Jameson Morris. So, he and his mother, sister and grandmother got to work. Using naturally refined pure beeswax and organic coconut oil as a base, they create truly clean-burning candles infused with essential oils and natural gemstone crystals that glisten and emit negative ions into the air when lit. Each candle is hand-poured in Portland. You'll find them in your Market Home & Gift section. Be well!
