Our scratch-made breads and rolls change with the seasons. Enjoy hearty rolls in winter, hamburger and hotdog buns in summer and sweet and savory breads year-round – and that’s just for starters! We also offer vegan-friendly breads and rolls.
Although our offerings change seasonally, the quality of our ingredients remains steadfast.
More of a science than an art, our bread baking begins in the hands of our skilled teammates, who are specially trained to mix, ferment, shape and bake extraordinary breads and rolls. Every ingredient makes a difference – and it begins with our starters. Affectionately named by each Market Bakery – Fifi, George, etc. – our sourdough starters must be “fed” every day in order to stay “alive.”
At your Market Bakery, you won’t find preservatives or anything else that doesn’t belong in bread. What you will find is that the ingredients we choose are locally sourced, fairly traded and sustainably sourced. Two of our favorite flours are Camas Country and Shepherd’s Grain – both are sustainably grown and milled locally. We also choose locally produced Umpqua butter for our baked goods.
Choose from buns and rolls, sliced deli loaves, whole loaves and more, offered in many shapes, sizes and varieties. Some of our customer favorites include: Sourdough, Focaccia, Ciabatta, Challah, French, Buttermilk, Brioche and more. We also bake a wide variety of seasonal and holiday favorites, like Irish Soda Bread and Stollen, Gingerbread and Fruitcakes.
