Market of Choice launches new website full of fodder for foodies

EUGENE, Ore. — At Market of Choice, it’s all about the experience. That’s why we’ve created a new website with enticing food for thought: blogs, recipes, customized specials, interactive forums and much, much more. We’ve basically brought the store to the Web, and we think you’d be hard pressed to find another local store that offers such a unique social networking experience.

Our mission is in our name: choice. At we offer nothing but choices. By simply signing in, you can create your very own My Market page, which includes a personal recipe box and alerts you when your favorite blogs, forums or specials are updated. But that’s just the beginning.

We’ve revolutionized the way customers receive specials. Instead of being bombarded with products you’ll never buy, we’ve made it easy to pick and choose what you crave. Let’s say you’re a vegetarian who’d rather not receive meat and seafood specials. No problem. Simply pick your preferences. When our weekly and Savories advertisements come out, those are the only updates you’ll receive. What you won’t see are all the things that don’t interest you.

Creative. Passionate. Devoted. When people love what they do, they can’t help but share. Our blogs, written by more than a dozen die-hard foodies, professional stewards and a registered dietician, include personal narratives and helpful information. Our hope is that this melting pot of voices, opinions and recommendations will inspire and enlighten our customers and help them make good choices.

In addition to our blogs, we offer unique, interactive forums where customers can continue the discussion with like-minded foodies by sharing recipes, cooking tips, baking blunders and more. Here, customers have full access to the experts, the buyers and managers who make Market of Choice so unique. Ask them a question, any question. Don’t be shy.

For those on the go, the website features kitchen and bakery menus that allow you to browse soups, salads, sandwiches, pizzas and baked goods, so that you can plan your shopping trip or meal before you get to the store, or order before you go.
