Dean Foor, owner of Entangled Biome in Eugene, has used his background in environmental engineering and fermentation science to good effect in creating SweeTinctures, an innovative line of probiotic-rich fermented hemp tinctures.

These tinctures, available at Market of Choice, combine botanicals, adaptogens and mushrooms in a water-soluble metabolite form, easy to take with long-lasting effectiveness.

Available in six varieties, SweeTinctures are made with ingredients from certified organic sources and in some cases are certified biodynamic, too. Elevate + Empower includes ashwagandha and red ginseng; Energy + Immunity features adaptogens; Belly + Brain relies on turmeric, ginger and black pepper; Helping Hand features aged, fermented hemp; Calm + Focus includes lion’s mane mushroom; and Rest + Renew features adaptogenic mushrooms and herbs. All are alcohol free.

“Take them directly or with a small amount of water,” Foor advises. “They have a mild, sweet and sour flavor if taken directly, or nearly no flavor at all if taken with water.” He adds, “adults and children alike find this product simple to take. Our favorite way to take them is with water or tea in the morning or in a creative mocktail in the evening. You can create a delicious beverage with any of the tinctures.”

Entangled Biome was born out of Dean’s personal need to address the effects of aging, such as inflammation, low energy levels, an anxious mind and restless sleep. To that effect, over the last five years, he says he’s radically improved his own well-being and that of his family members and customers.

Thanks to Market of Choice’s ongoing support of local businesses, Dean says, Entangled Biome is available to customers throughout the state, making it easy for customers to recommend the products.

“It’s obvious that Market of Choice enjoys promoting local makers,” Dean says.
