Carrying on an Oregon tradition
Convinced that the Willamette Valley was the place to produce balanced, complex wines, Erin Nuccio moved to Oregon and seized an opportunity to work with one of Oregon’s renowned wineries, Evesham Wood, and legendary winemaker Russ Raney. Over the next few years, Erin started his own label, Haden Fig, and eventually purchased Evesham Wood.
Today, he and his wife, Jordan, are keeping Evesham Wood’s tradition
alive by focusing on hands-off winemaking, the exclusive use of dry-farmed vineyards and sustainable/organic viticulture to produce stunning wines from optimally ripe, small-yield fruit from the Eola-Amity Hills.
