New beers in stock at Willamette

First up are two new Stone Brewing beers finding their way into bottles for the first time. They are variations on their already delicious Smoked Porter, with one adding vanilla beans, the other, adding chipotle peppers. (3.79/12 oz. bottle)

Although summer hasn’t quite gotten here, once it does, we have the perfect beer for you. Vertigo Brewing is located in Hillsboro, OR and their first bottle selection is their delicious and refreshing Razz Wheat. (4.99/ 22 oz bottle)

Our friends from Logsdon Organic Farmhouse Ales have delivered another tasty treat to us in the form of Cerasus. It is a barrel aged Belgian Kriek beer that adds delicious cherries that they grow right on their property. I had a chance to taste this right out of the barrel last year, and am excited to see how it has changed in that time. We only got 2 cases, so hurry in while we still have them! (19.99/ 750ml bottle)

McKenzie Brewing Company, known locally as Steelhead Brewing (California based Mad River Brewing owns the copyright to the name Steelhead) has been brewing in Eugene for 21 years. We are proud to have their first two beers off of their bottling line, Twisted Meniscus IPA and Hopasaurus Rex Imperial IPA. (3.99 and 5.19/22 oz. bottle). We had the opportunity to try them the other day and they will fit in quite nicely with the other IPA’s in town.

blog2The newest release of Elysian’s 12 Beers of the Apocalypse has arrived and it is called Wasteland. It is a saison brewed with elderflowers, and as these are usually quite limited and quite popular, get this one before we run out.

And last but not least, we finally got in bottles of HUB’s Belgian Style Abbey Ale. We had heard rumblings of this one for a while, but assumed at this point that perhaps it came and went already. But it is now sitting safely on our shelf and promises to keep you warm on those cool Summer nights. (9.29/22 oz. bottle)
