6 egg yolks
3 T sugar
1 lb mascarpone cheese
1 1/2 c espresso, cooled
2 t Marsala (Italian dessert wine)
24 ladyfingers
1/2 c bittersweet chocolate shavings
1 pt fresh strawberries, sliced

Methods/Steps

Beat egg yolks & sugar until thick & pale. Add mascarpone cheese; beat till smooth.

Add 1 T espresso & Marsala. Briefly dip 1/2 ladyfingers in this mixture. Lay them in 13” x 9” dish; can break if necessary. Spread 1/2 mascarpone over them.

Soak and layer rest of ladyfingers. Top with remaining mascarpone mixture.

Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate 2 to 8 hrs.

Top tiramisu with sliced berries & sprinkle with chocolate shavings.
