Ordering and Pricing Guidelines

Many dates fill in advance, so it is always a good idea to make reservations as far ahead as possible. Since we are committed to providing the freshest ingredients, beautiful presentations, and complete preparation, we must limit the number of events we book on any one day.

On all social events we require a 50 percent deposit of your estimated total and a major credit card on file to cover post-event charges, such as breakage or overtime. You may use your credit card to pay all expenses, but payment by check or cash is also welcome. Business and corporate accounts may be set up in advance through our Catering Manager.

All menus are subject to change if ingredients are seasonal.

For Sunday events there is a 15 percent surcharge as we do not usually have staff working on Sundays.

Proposals will be drafted based on an estimated guest count. You must deliver the final guaranteed guest count and pay outstanding balance at least 10 days before your event.

Refunds of Deposits

May be issued as follows:
  • 90 days ahead = full refund
  • 60 days ahead = 50% refund
  • 30 days ahead = 25% refund

Less than 30 days notice there will be no refund of deposit.

On Site Services Available

Food Service Staff: $125 Minimum charge

Licensed Bartenders: $150 Minimum charge

Professional Chefs: $175 Minimum charge

Minimum charges include the first five hours of service, after which the servers are billed at a rate of $20 per hour, bartenders at $25 per hour, and chefs at $30 per hour. Service is billed from the time the staff leaves the Market of Choice company kitchen until they return.

We do not charge a mandated gratuity for staffed events. If you feel that our staff exceeded your expectations you may provide a gratuity to our Catering Manager to disperse to all Food Service Staff, Bartenders, and Chefs that contributed to your event.

Rental Information

We stock limited supplies of rental equipment. If you are planning a party for more than 50 guests, we will work with you to coordinate your rentals through Parties to Go.

Linens:

  • Solid white linen napkins: $1.00 each
  • Solid white 8 ft linen table cloth: $10.00 each

Glasses, Tableware and Barware:

  • Full place settings: $3.50 person
  • Individual plates and bowls: 65¢ each
  • Vineyard plates with wine glass holder: 75¢ each
  • Flatware: 50¢ each
  • Wine, champagne, water, hi-balls: 65¢ each

Limited Bar Setup: $100.00 and up

Includes: Beer and wine glasses, linens, bar tables, ice, ice buckets and cocktail napkins

Alcohol Policies

We are fully licensed and insured to dispense alcohol at all locations, including publicly owned facilities. We will help you decide on appropriate quantities for your event in order to control over-pouring.

If you provide your own alcohol, you will be assessed a “corkage” fee of $2.00 per person. Corkage fee applies to all adults attending catered event. The reason for this charge is because of the cost of our Liquor Liability Insurance.

If our company is involved in beverage service, state law makes us the responsible party, even in private homes, at private events. If there is an excessive amount of alcohol, in our opinion, we will not provide bartending services. We suggest that you plan on 2-3 drinks per person maximum.

No one under 21 years of age will be served. NO EXCEPTIONS! This applies to private homes as well as public facilities.
