Two Polish classics are back

Okocim Pilsner pours light golden in the glass with a frothy white head. Light body with minimal hoppy notes and some steely flavors in the mouth, offset by a hint of malt. 5.5% ABV. $2.49/500ml.

Zywiec Lager shows tawny yellow in the glass with medium foam. Light floral perfume on the nose followed by notes of malt and toasty yeast. 5.6% ABV. $2.79/500ml.

Session Black Lager
was just released by Full Sail Brewing Co. A lighter black beer with notes of roast malt. $10.49/12/12oz cans. Taste it this evening at the wine bar with John Harris, head brewer at Full Sail. Also available will be the new LTD 3. $6.99/6-pack.

From Switzerland, Cuvee Alex Le Rouge Jurrasian Imperial Stout is brewed with bourbon vanilla, Sarawac pepper, and Russian tea, and hopped with Hallertau hops. Unfiltered and unpasturized, 10.3%ABV. $7.99/11.2oz.

• Saturday, June 27 at 5 p.m. – Join us for a taste of Hawkins Wine Cellars 2007 Pinot Noir, 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2008 Pinot Gris.
• Sunday, June 28 at 5 p.m. – We will try J. Christopher’s Cristo Irresisto and Cristo Misto, both 2008.
